ABOUT THE ROLE

Neural Sourcing is sharing an open contract role from micro1, an AI training data company. You'll help train the next generation of AI systems by analyzing mechanical assemblies and writing precise technical questions and answers about them. This is analysis and technical writing, not CAD design work. No prior AI experience is required. Your mechanical engineering and CAD knowledge is what matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Analyze multi-part mechanical assemblies in native FreeCAD files and understand how the components relate and what the design intent is

- Write objective, precise question-and-answer sets for each assembly that can't be guessed

- Create several detailed technical questions per assembly covering mechanical function, design rationale and dimensions

- Format every question and answer to be unambiguous and in line with real-world engineering standards

- Deliver high-quality work within the project's parameters and stay in clear contact with project coordinators

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Background in mechanical engineering,



aerospace or industrial design, with strong applied CAD knowledge

- Ability to read and analyze complex mechanical assemblies and engineering drawings

- Experience with CAD platforms such as Solid Works, CATIA or Autodesk Inventor (FreeCAD experience is an advantage, and the software is free to download)

- Ability to write clear, precise and objective technical documentation

- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

- Valuable written and verbal communication in English

- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely
