As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll apply your hands-on security operations experience to evaluate and improve AI models designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations. What You'll Do
• Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to assess AI-generated investigative outputs
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy in determining impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation steps
• Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for real-world validity
• Identify gaps where AI analysis diverges from how experienced response teams actually operate
• Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life Who You Are
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
• Solid working knowledge of SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
• Skilled at triaging signal from noise and identifying meaningful threats quickly
• Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have
• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or red/blue team operations
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK; or NIST IR
