Role Description The Category & Portfolio Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, responsible for managing and optimizing the agrochemical product portfolio and categories. This role involves analyzing product performance and market trends, identifying gaps and opportunities, and developing category strategies to drive growth and profitability. The manager will work closely with finance, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to plan product launches, pricing, promotions, and inventory alignment. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring competitive activity, assessing investment priorities for product lines, preparing reports and dashboards,



and ensuring that product offerings meet customer needs and company standards. The role also requires collaborating with senior leadership on long-term portfolio planning and supporting data-driven decision-making. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and evaluate product and category performance.
• Candidates should possess finance and investment-related skills to support pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Candidates should possess portfolio management skills to plan, optimize, and phase products, ensuring a balanced and competitive offering.
• Candidates should possess trading or market operations understanding to align product strategies with real-world demand and channel dynamics.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or related fields are beneficial.
• Experience in agrochemicals, FMCG, or related industries, along with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools, is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
