We are looking for a Manager, Artwork Development QC to join our Artwork team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and timely delivery of artwork across our global product portfolio.

About the Role
The Manager, Artwork Development QC is responsible for the end-to-end management of pharmaceutical artwork quality control, ensuring packaging and product information artworks accurately reflect approved regulatory information and meet all technical and compliance requirements. This role combines hands-on artwork quality review (50%) with team leadership and workload management (50%), while also supporting cross-functional projects and collaboration with CMOs. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert in artwork quality, regulatory compliance, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end artwork quality control for pharmaceutical packaging and product information artwork from initiation through final approval.
• Perform detailed reviews to ensure artwork aligns with approved regulatory documents, technical specifications, safety information, and country-specific requirements.
• Conduct technical and design QC checks covering layout, readability, typography, colours, symbols, barcodes, dimensions, and print specifications.
• Ensure compliance and traceability of all artwork updates, including regulatory variations, safety updates, and change control activities.
• Manage artwork-related risks, deviations, exceptions, and quality records,



ensuring appropriate documentation and escalation.
• Oversee multiple artwork projects simultaneously, managing timelines, priorities, dependencies, stakeholders, and implementation plans.
• Monitor and improve performance through artwork metrics, including cycle times, right-first-time rates, review turnaround times, and on-time delivery.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pharmaceutical artwork, packaging, labelling compliance, documentation practices, and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including SOP maintenance, system enhancements, risk-based QC approaches, automation opportunities, and root-cause investigations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Artwork QC team while managing vendor relationships, supporting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. What We're Looking For Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Packaging Technology.
• Project Management certification preferred. Experience & Skills
• 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical artwork QC, packaging operations, regulatory labelling, artwork production, or a related regulated environment.
• Strong expertise in reviewing regulated content and visual/technical artwork quality with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working on Mac OS.




• Experience with electronic proofreading tools, preferably Global Vision.
• Knowledge of artwork management and controlled document systems, including Veeva Vault RIM/AMS or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management capabilities.
