Role Description The SDET II – Automation (4–6 years) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon, focused on building and maintaining automated test frameworks for backend and web applications. The person in this role will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure testability of features, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements, writing robust code for test automation, identifying and reporting defects, and participating in code reviews to improve quality standards. The role also involves optimizing performance and reliability of test suites, enhancing coverage for APIs and services,



and documenting test scenarios and best practices to support cross-functional teams. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one contemporary programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
• Practical knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and integration testing of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts to build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices, including code reviews and branching strategies.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression) and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate complex technical issues clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry certifications or prior fintech experience are an advantage.
