Duties & Responsibilities
• To be part of the Industrial Design team and Studio facility at JCB Design Centre, Pune.
• Support Industrial Design Team, to drive current product and new product development for JCB India Ltd.
• Must be able to handle projects from concept sketch stage to CAS delivery.
• Work hand in hand with project teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Undertake research activities to investigate and promote recent product ideas / concepts. To initiate and contribute to Advance Concept projects.
• Willingness to work hands on projects.
• Preferred institutes from NID, MIT ID, IIT & ADYP. Candidate’s Profile
• Total experience of 2
- 6 years
• Tools and Skillset: Expert level Sketching and visualisation, Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Alias & Autodesk Vred.
• Background experience of Industrial Design, Transportation design, Product Design.
• Projects in Construction / Off Highway equipment/commercial vehicles would be an added advantage.




• Strong visualisation/sketching skills – Should be able to generate ideas following the brief – following JCB Design DNA.
• Industry Experience in Autodesk Alias for conceptual modelling and delivery (Minimum 2 to 3 years). Freshers will be assessed based on class room project output quality.
• 3D visualization skills using Alias visualization, Vred, Showcase etc.
• Basic Understanding of manufacturing processes – from basic fabrication through to high volume tooling.
• Should have handled at least two design programs as industrial designer. Involvement in engineering execution & supplier (outsourced) parts is an added advantage. Required Skillset
• Good communication & presentation skills – verbal as well as written.
• Ability to effectively negotiate in the interests of delivering appealing product solutions.
• Well versed with industry standard design and development processes.
• A desire to drive quality and consistency of design output forward.
