About the Role
Earth En Quest Advisory (EEQA) is looking for a creative, reliable, and technically skilled YouTube Video Editor & Social Media Manager to support our environmental education channel, Clean Copper Talks (CCT), and manage the LinkedIn presence of both Clean Copper Talks and Earth En Quest Advisory. The ideal candidate should be passionate about video storytelling, educational content, social media trends, and digital audience engagement. We will provide a desktop/laptop, required software, and the raw footage, scripts, reference material, and other content resources needed for production. Your responsibility will be to transform these materials into engaging videos and manage their publication across the relevant platforms.

Key Responsibilities
1. YouTube Video Editing – Clean Copper Talks
• Edit 2–3 long-form YouTube videos per week on environmental engineering, pollution control, water and wastewater treatment, sustainability, and related topics.
• Edit recorded footage and incorporate relevant graphics, animations, images, diagrams, stock footage, subtitles, background music, and sound effects.
• Improve pacing, storytelling, audio quality, transitions, and visual presentation to maintain audience engagement.
• Create engaging YouTube thumbnails using tools such as Canva or Photoshop.
• Ensure that videos follow the channel's visual identity and are delivered within agreed deadlines. 2. YouTube Shorts & Instagram Reels
• Create and publish at least one short-form video daily for the Clean Copper Talks YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels platforms.
• Repurpose long-form videos into engaging short clips with robust opening hooks, captions, subtitles, and suitable visual elements.
• Adapt video dimensions, text placement, duration, and formatting to suit each platform.
• Identify suitable highlights from long-form videos that can be converted into standalone short-form content. 3. Social Media Management & Publishing
• Manage the LinkedIn pages of Earth En Quest Advisory and Clean Copper Talks.




• Schedule and publish content according to the agreed content calendar.
• Write or refine captions, descriptions, titles, hashtags, and calls to action using content and instructions provided by the founder.
• Upload videos, add thumbnails, organize playlists, and maintain accurate titles and descriptions on YouTube.
• Maintain consistency in branding, publishing frequency, and communication across platforms.
• Monitor comments and engagement, and flag relevant audience queries for responses. 4. Content Planning & Performance Tracking
• Maintain a content calendar covering upcoming videos, shorts/reels, and LinkedIn posts.
• Track basic performance indicators, including views, watch time, audience retention, impressions, engagement, and follower growth.
• Review content performance and suggest improvements in editing style, presentation, thumbnails, and posting strategy.
• Stay updated with relevant video-editing techniques, social media formats, and emerging content trends. 5. File & Project Management
• Maintain an organized system for raw footage, edited videos, graphics, project files, thumbnails, and published content.
• Ensure appropriate backup and version control of important files.
• Coordinate with the founder regarding scripts, source material, feedback, revisions, and publishing schedules. Required Qualifications & Skills
• A degree, diploma, or relevant practical training in video editing, multimedia, animation, graphic design, mass communication, digital marketing, or a related field. Candidates with strong practical skills and a portfolio may also apply.
• Practical proficiency in at least one professional video-editing tool, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of tools such as After Effects, Canva, Photoshop, or similar applications will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn content formats.




• Ability to edit both long-form and short-form videos with appropriate pacing, transitions, captions, audio, and visual elements.
• Basic understanding of YouTube SEO, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and social media analytics.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to incorporate feedback and maintain a consistent publishing schedule. Preferred Skills
• Experience editing educational, documentary, science, engineering, or explainer videos.
• Familiarity with animated diagrams, motion graphics, infographic-based explanations, and AI-assisted creative tools.
• Experience managing YouTube or Instagram accounts and LinkedIn business pages.
• Understanding of audience retention, video hooks, storytelling, and content repurposing.
• A portfolio demonstrating both long-form video editing and short-form content creation. Applicants must share a portfolio, showreel, or links to previously edited videos.
