Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

Experience:
2–4 Years Department: R&D; / Electronics. Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on PCB Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in electronic hardware design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing PCBs for UAV, embedded, industrial, and other electronic systems, from schematic capture through PCB fabrication, assembly, bring-up, and validation. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of analog and digital electronics and be capable of independently identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues at board and system level.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop 2-layer, 4-layer, and multilayer PCBs based on system requirements.
• Create circuit schematics, component selection, PCB layouts, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform PCB placement and routing considering signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal requirements, and mechanical constraints.
• Design power supply circuits, DC-DC converters, LDOs, protection circuits, communication interfaces, and sensor interfaces.
• Work with interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, PWM, ADC and GPIO.
• Generate and review Gerber files, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place files, assembly drawings, and manufacturing outputs.
• Perform PCB prototype bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures using oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, electronic loads, power supplies, and other laboratory equipment.
• Identify issues related to power rails, grounding, communication interfaces, component failures, noise, signal integrity, and thermal performance.
• Work closely with firmware engineers to debug hardware–firmware integration issues.
• Support PCB modification, rework, component replacement, and engineering change implementation.
• Review PCB designs for manufacturability,



reliability, serviceability, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers, PCB assembly vendors, and component suppliers.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and troubleshooting reports.
• Support environmental, functional, and system-level testing of electronic assemblies. Required Technical Skills
• 2–4 years of practical experience in PCB design and hardware development.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer / KiCad / OrCAD or equivalent PCB design tools.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Good understanding of PCB stack-up, grounding, decoupling, impedance-controlled routing, and power distribution.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded hardware.
• Hands-on experience with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/RS485, USB, Ethernet and PWM.
• Ability to read and understand component datasheets and application notes.
• Valuable troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and other test equipment.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes. Preferred Skills
• Experience in UAV, robotics, automotive, battery systems.
• Experience designing boards involving MCUs, sensors, IMUs, CAN, RF modules, power electronics, and ESC interfaces.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and troubleshooting.
• Experience with high-speed digital signals and differential-pair routing.
• Basic knowledge of embedded firmware and microcontroller programming.
• Experience with hardware validation and qualification testing. Desired Attributes
