2–4 years About Phootri Tales Phootri Tales is a YouTube-first content IP studio. We build fiction IPs — short stories, big emotions, quick watches, lasting impact — with returning seasons and audiences that come back. We’re a young studio with a full slate in production, which means you’ll own real work from day one instead of waiting your turn. The role You’ll cut everything that lives outside the main episode. Our shows release on YouTube; your job is to make sure the channel and our social handles are never quiet between releases. This is a high-output, fast-turnaround role — if you like sitting on one edit for three weeks, this isn’t it. What you’ll do
• Cut Shorts and Reels from our long-form episodes — find the hook, build retention, make a 30-second piece work on its own without the context of the episode
• Edit standalone social content: BTS, cast promos, trend formats, announcement pieces
• Build motion graphics, titles, text animation, lower thirds and end cards in After Effects




• Package for platform — vertical and horizontal versions, safe areas, captions, platform-correct exports
• Work to the release calendar: every show launch has a fixed set of assets and fixed dates
• Keep a clean, organised project and media structure that someone else can open and understand What we’re looking for
• 2–4 years editing for social and YouTube, ideally at a content studio, agency or creator-led channel
• Strong on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• You understand short-form as a craft, not a crop — hooks, pacing, text rhythm, where a cut needs to land
• A reel or drive link of social work, with view numbers if you have them
• Fast, reliable and comfortable with volume. Release weeks are heavy
• Working knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator for thumbnails and stills Nice to have
• Hindi content experience and an ear for Hindi dialogue timing
• Sound design and basic mixing
• Grading in Premiere or DaVinci
• Experience on vertical micro-drama or short-form fiction
