Role Description The Intensive Care Nurse is a full-time, in office position based at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The role involves providing continuous, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment under established protocols. The nurse will collaborate closely with intensivists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans, respond to emergencies, and ensure safe patient transitions within the hospital. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation,



following infection control and safety standards, educating patients’ families about care processes, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds. The Intensive Care Nurse is expected to contribute to a culture of teamwork, ethical practice, and ongoing clinical improvement. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in general Nursing skills, including patient assessment, care planning, and post-procedure care.
• Specialized competence in Critical Care Nursing for ICU patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex care coordination.
• Knowledge of Emergency Nursing practices, with the ability to respond quickly to acute changes in patient condition and support resuscitation efforts.
• Understanding of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine principles to interpret clinical findings, follow treatment protocols, and support medical decision-making.
• Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.
Sc Nursing) from an accredited institution; valid nursing registration with relevant council or authority.
• Previous experience in an ICU, CCU, or emergency care setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in high-pressure situations and follow evidence-based practices.
• Commitment to professional ethics, patient safety, continuous learning, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical standards.
