Our portfolio strategy encompasses boutique hotels, heritage properties, resorts and business hotels, with a focus on identifying promising hospitality opportunities and developing long-term partnerships with hotel owners and investors. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hotel Development Manager to support our expansion and strengthen our presence across key hospitality markets in India. Role Overview We are seeking a energetic, well-connected and results-oriented Hotel Development Manager to drive new hotel acquisition and development opportunities. The primary responsibility will be to identify, source and generate qualified leads for new hotel management and lease opportunities across India, with an initial focus on North India. The ideal candidate should have an established network of hotel owners, real estate developers, investors and hospitality industry professionals, along with a strong understanding of the Indian hotel development landscape.

Key Responsibilities
1. Hotel Development & Lead Generation
• Proactively identify potential hotels, resorts and hospitality projects suitable for management agreements or long-term leases.
• Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified hotel development opportunities.
• Identify existing independent hotels suitable for conversion, repositioning or rebranding.




• Explore greenfield and brownfield hospitality development opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging destinations and potential growth markets. 2. Owner & Investor Relationships
• Develop and maintain relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors and real estate consultants.
• Build a strong network of hospitality industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct initial meetings with property owners to understand their requirements and investment objectives.
• Represent Haalpeco Hotels at industry events, networking forums and development meetings. 3. Prospect Evaluation
• Conduct preliminary assessments of potential properties, including location, inventory, facilities and market positioning.
• Gather relevant property information, including ownership details, existing performance and development status.
• Evaluate opportunities based on brand suitability, commercial potential and operating structure.
• Coordinate property inspections and preliminary feasibility assessments with the corporate team. 4. Business Development & Deal Coordination
• Present Haalpeco Hotels management capabilities and proposed operating models to prospective owners.




• Coordinate initial discussions regarding hotel management agreements and lease arrangements.
• Assist in preparing development proposals, presentations and letters of intent.
• Support commercial negotiations and coordinate with internal teams through the contracting process.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective owners to progress opportunities towards closure. 5. Pipeline Management & Reporting
• Maintain an updated database of hotel development leads and prospective owners.
• Track opportunities from initial identification through evaluation, negotiation and signing.
• Prepare regular development pipeline reports for management.
• Monitor competitor expansion, hotel transactions and emerging hospitality markets. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotel development, hospitality business development, hotel acquisitions or hotel management company expansion.
• Experience working with hotel brands, hotel management companies, hospitality consultants or real estate developers would be advantageous.
• Strong existing relationships with hotel owners, developers and hospitality investors.
• Good understanding of hotel management agreements, lease structures and hotel development processes.
• Strong communication, networking, presentation and negotiation skills.
