Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day civil site activities, including excavation, foundation, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing and finishing works.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, and ensure execution matches them.
• Prepare and track daily and weekly work schedules, and report progress against the project timeline.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, MEP teams, interior teams and consultants for smooth, sequenced execution.
• Monitor material quality, quantity and usage, and raise material requirements in time.
• Conduct measurements and verify contractor bills and work certifications (RA bills).
• Maintain site records: daily progress reports, material registers, labour attendance and quality checklists.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory requirements and local authority regulations.
• Identify site issues, delays and cost overruns early, and escalate with proposed solutions.
• Handle snagging and rectification, and ensure timely handover on completion.




• Support post-completion civil maintenance and repair work at the showroom as needed. Qualifications and Experience
• B.
E./B.
Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience may be considered).
• 2–5 years of site execution experience, preferably in commercial, retail or showroom construction.
• Experience in interior fit-out or large-format retail projects is an advantage. Skills and Competencies
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and quality standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word); basic estimation and quantity-surveying skills.
• Ability to manage contractors and labour teams effectively.
• Valuable communication in Tamil and English.
• Problem-solving ability, time management and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on-site and to travel between project locations when required.
