about the role
To support efficient flight operations by preparing and managing ATFM data, coordinating flight planning activities, actively engaging in collaborative decision making (CDM), and working with internal and external stakeholders to optimize runway slot usage and airspace flow. Qualifications &
Experience:
Licensed Flight Dispatcher/Air Traffic Controller Skill Set
• Proficient in Microsoft word, Excell and Power Point
• Proficiency in using aviation-related software and tools. Job Responsibility Preparation of CATFM Data and Portal ManagementCompile, validate, and upload accurate CATFM data into the Skyflow Portal to ensure real-time demand–capacity information is available for operational use. Flight Plan Coordination Ensure flight plans are filed for all operating flights within the relevant planning window. Communicate promptly with the CATFM centre regarding flight cancellations or changes to support effective slot utilization and avoid unnecessary ATFM constraints. Participation in ATFM/CDM Discussions Actively represent the airline during ATFM and airport-level cooperative decision-making discussions.
Provide operational insights and feedback when ATFM measures are implemented to achieve optimal traffic flow outcomes. Collaborate on CTOT and GDP Measures Work with flow managers and ATFM units to adjust Collaborative Target Take-Off Times (CTOTs) as required and seek possible exemptions or modifications under the Ground Delay Program (GDP) to support operational efficiency. Airspace Management Coordination Maintain awareness of Airspace Use Plans (AUP) to identify opportunities for CDR usage. Flight Suitability for CDR Planning Assess flight schedules and operational constraints to identify flights that are suitable for planning on Conditional Routes (CDRs) based on current AUP information, helping improve network efficiency and reduce delays. Participate in various Aviation meetings Attend and contribute to various aviation-related meetings — including with Air Traffic Control (ATC), internal safety committees, Flight Operations Planning Committees (FOPC), and Regional Operations Control (ROC) to support coordinated decision-making and to foster a strong safety culture.
