The Computer Teacher will plan and deliver engaging computer education lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for different grade levels. Daily responsibilities include teaching fundamental computer concepts, basic to intermediate programming, and responsible use of technology. The role involves designing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The Computer Teacher will also maintain computer lab equipment,
support students during practical sessions, collaborate with other teachers, and participate in school activities and meetings. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and computer applications.
• Practical experience with Programming concepts and basic coding skills.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining technical topics clearly to students.
• Experience in Curriculum Development and lesson planning for computer education.
• Proven Teaching skills, including classroom management and student engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with common educational software, productivity tools, and internet safety practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, demonstrate patience, and support diverse learning needs.
• Prior teaching or training experience, especially at school level, is an advantage.
