Role Description The Article Trainee will work full time on-site at the Navi Mumbai office, supporting audit, taxation, and corporate advisory assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers and documentation, and supporting compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations. The role involves drafting reports, maintaining client files, and performing research on accounting, tax, and corporate law matters relevant to client engagements. The Article Trainee will also help in preparing financial statements, performing basic reconciliations, and coordinating with clients to collect information and clarify queries. This position offers structured learning, exposure to diverse industries, and practical experience aligned with professional training requirements. Eligibility
* Candidate must have cleared both groups of CA Intermediate.




* Strong academic and conceptual understanding of taxation.
* Good analytical, communication and drafting skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
& Areas of Exposure The candidate will be provided practical exposure and will be involved in assignments relating to:
* Direct Taxation: Income-tax compliance, tax computations, assessments, notices and related matters.
* International Taxation: Cross-border transactions, withholding tax, DTAA-related matters and other international tax assignments.
* Indirect Taxation: GST compliance, advisory, reconciliations, assessments and related matters.
* Tax Litigation: Assisting in preparation and submission of replies to notices, appeals, representations and other litigation-related matters before relevant authorities.
* Assisting in research and analysis of various tax laws, notifications, circulars and judicial precedents.
* Preparation of tax-related workings, reports, submissions and other client documentation.
* Coordination with clients and internal teams for timely completion of assignments.
* Handling multiple assignments while ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines. Skills Required
* Sound knowledge of Direct Tax, Indirect Tax and basic International Taxation.
* Strong research and analytical abilities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and develop practical knowledge.
