Role Description The Senior Holiday Consultant is a full-time, in office role based in Kerala, India, responsible for designing and managing holiday packages for individual and group travelers. Daily tasks include consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budgets, creating customized itineraries, coordinating bookings for flights, hotels, transport, and activities, and providing clear pre-travel information. The role involves maintaining relationships with local and international suppliers, monitoring pricing and availability, and resolving any travel-related issues promptly. The Senior Holiday Consultant will also contribute to improving service offerings, mentoring junior team members, and supporting marketing efforts with destination insights and package ideas.



Qualifications
• Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to understand traveler needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and local languages preferred), including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and partners.
• Sound knowledge of popular holiday destinations, travel products, and current trends in tourism, particularly within India and international leisure travel.
• Proficiency with reservation systems, online booking platforms, and basic office productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, word processing).
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail when preparing itineraries, quotations, and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, mentor junior staff, and handle multiple client requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in travel consulting, holiday planning, or a related hospitality/tourism role; experience at a senior level is an advantage.
• Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
