Software Development Lead

Primary Skills:

- CI/CD Pipeline, React (React Context / Redux), Django / Flask / FastAPI, Docker, CSS/SCSS/LESS, PyTest, PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Redis, Kubernetes, REST API / GraphQL

Job requirements:

Experience Range: With at least 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, including substantial expertise in Python backend and microservices architecture

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices using Python, ensuring high performance and reliability2. Lead end-to-end development of fullstack applications, integrating React-based frontends with robust Python backends3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and delivery of applications4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and deliverables5. Optimize database performance and data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis to ensure efficient data handling6. Manage containerization and orchestration of services using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployment and scalability7. Develop, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable secure and efficient communication between services8. Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in software engineering

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python for backend development2. Experience with microservices architecture and design3. Robust knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks4. Proficiency in Golang as a secondary backend language5. CI/CD pipeline setup and management using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions6. Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes7. Database management and optimization with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis8. API development and integration using REST and GraphQL9. Automated testing with PyTest

Preferred Skills:

1. Hands-on expertise in React, including React Context and Redux2. Frontend styling with CSS, SCSS, or LESS3. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP4. Knowledge of advanced caching strategies and performance tuning5. Familiarity with security best practices for microservices and APIs6. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

Desired Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline 2. Certification in Python development or microservices architecture (such as PCAP, PCEP, or similar)3. Certification in cloud technologies or DevOps practices (such as AWS Certified Developer, Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent)
