Job Overview To manage metrology and laboratory inspection activities, ensuring accurate measurement systems, First Article Inspection (FAI) compliance, and product conformance to customer and engineering requirements. Responsibilities
• Perform and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
• Manage metrology laboratory operations and inspection plans.
• Validate dimensional layouts for new and modified components.
• Operate and support advanced inspection equipment.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality measuring instruments.
• Generate FAI reports and PPAP documentation where required.
• Support new product introduction and engineering change validations.
• Conduct MSA studies including GR&R.;
• Support internal, customer, and certification audits. Requirements
• Expertise in dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, and PFMEA.
• Understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CMM operations and programming preferred.
• Knowledge of MSA, GR&R;, SPC, and calibration systems.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and report preparation. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
