Location, Newtown Kolkata We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities across departments, build reliable vendor relationships, negotiate competitive pricing, and ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate purchase and procurement activities across departments.
• Collect and consolidate purchase requirements from the Accounts team and other departments.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and procurement documents.
• Coordinate with Accounts for budget availability, invoice verification, payment processing, and financial documentation.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, pending supplies, and vendor commitments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, approved budgets, and authorization procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of vendors, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.




• Prepare regular reports on expenditure, pending orders, vendor performance, and cost savings. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in purchase management, procurement, or vendor management.
• Robust negotiation, communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, GST documentation, and vendor payments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets; knowledge of ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize requirements across departments.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and financial accountability. Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience managing procurement for multiple departments.
• Familiarity with coordinating purchases across Accounts, Administration, Engineering, Inventory, and Operations.
• Ability to establish structured procurement processes, maintain transparency, and ensure value for money.
