Solid tax governance, regulatory compliance and transfer pricing oversight are critical components of the company's growth and risk management framework. Role Overview Reporting to the CFO
- India, the Head of Tax, Financial Compliance & Transfer Pricing will lead the organization’s tax, transfer pricing and finance compliance agenda. The role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, coordinating with external advisors and supporting strategic business growth through proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities
Direct & Indirect Tax
• Lead corporate tax and GST compliance activities.
• Oversee tax provisions for India financial reporting and US GAAP, advance tax payments and tax reporting.
• Manage tax assessments, audits, notices and regulatory inquiries.
• Support business initiatives through effective tax planning and guidance.
• Monitor emerging tax legislation, global tax reforms and regulatory developments, assessing their impact on the business and recommending appropriate actions. Transfer Pricing
• Lead implementation and governance of transfer pricing policies.
• Manage intercompany arrangements and recharge methodologies.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and regulatory filings.
• Manage transfer pricing audits, APA opportunities and reviews.
• Oversee annual benchmarking studies, economic analyses and transfer pricing risk assessments. Financial Compliance & Governance
• Own and maintain the Finance and Tax Compliance Calendar.
• Monitor compliance with tax,



transfer pricing, FEMA and finance-related regulatory requirements.
• Establish compliance reporting, tracking and escalation mechanisms.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement and Company Secretariat teams to ensure timely completion of obligations.
• Partner with the PFI US tax team to ensure information is provided for US and global tax requirements, as well as proper coordination in accordance with global policies and processes. Advisor & Regulatory Management
• Act as the primary liaison with EY and other external advisors.
• Coordinate tax, compliance and regulatory engagements, develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities, regulators, industry bodies and external advisors.
• Support government incentive applications and ongoing compliance requirements.
• Ensure timely implementation of advisor recommendations. Leadership
• Build and develop the internal tax and compliance capability.
• Establish policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Promote a culture of compliance, accountability and risk awareness. Qualifications & Experience
• Chartered Accountant qualification required.
• 12+ years of experience across direct tax, GST, transfer pricing and financial compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, transfer pricing regulations and FEMA.
• Experience managing assessments, audits and regulatory interactions.
• Experience working with external advisors and consulting firms.
• Experience within insurance, reinsurance, financial services, asset management or other regulated industries preferred. Key Competencies
