Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteers who contribute to the platform and related community initiatives. Day-to-day activities include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking volunteer assignments, and maintaining regular communication to ensure engagement and clarity of responsibilities. The role involves developing and delivering volunteer training materials, coordinating virtual events or outreach activities, and serving as a primary contact for volunteer questions and feedback. The Coordinator will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align volunteer efforts with platform goals and report on volunteer participation and impact. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training, including organizing, onboarding,



and supporting volunteers.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build rapport, provide transparent guidance, and maintain positive volunteer relationships.
• Experience with Community Outreach, particularly in online or tech-focused communities, to attract and retain engaged volunteers.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and use digital tools for coordination and tracking.
• Prior experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit work, community management, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with tech or software engineering communities is beneficial but not required.
