Role Description The Decor Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering wedding décor solutions that align with Humsafar’s standards of understated elegance and precise execution. This full time, on-site role in New Delhi involves collaborating closely with planners, clients, and vendors to develop décor concepts, layouts, and mood boards for multi-day and multi-venue wedding events. Day-to-day tasks include assessing venues, planning spatial layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and translating design ideas into clear construction or implementation drawings.



The Decor Designer will oversee on-ground setup, work with production teams to ensure timely installation, and make real-time adjustments to maintain guest comfort, safety, and aesthetic integrity. The role requires meticulous documentation, vendor coordination, and adherence to budget and timelines while maintaining sensitivity to family preferences and cultural rituals. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills to create functional, aesthetically coherent layouts for diverse venues.
• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to translate concepts into clear, buildable plans and technical specifications.
• Candidates should possess FF&E; expertise to select and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment that reflect the design intent and event requirements.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in high-end events, hospitality, or luxury interiors is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site for extended hours during event periods, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong visual communication, vendor coordination, and project management skills.
• Comfort working in high-pressure, confidential environments with discretion and professionalism.
