ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a business analytics leader to build and lead our central analytics function. This person will establish the data foundation, lead analysts and data engineers, and help teams make faster, better decisions. The role combines data strategy, business analytics, and growth. The person should understand P&L;, category growth, marketing, operations, and customer behaviour. They will also work directly with the Founder on high-priority strategic projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the analytics function Define the company’s analytics vision, operating model, and roadmap. Hire and lead a high-performing team of analysts and data engineers. Create a central source of truth serving all business functions. Build a culture of structured, data-backed decision-making. Build the data foundation Design a scalable architecture covering data integration, warehousing, modelling, governance, and BI. Integrate data across marketing, sales, finance, operations, product, and customer systems. Establish reliable metrics, data-quality standards, and self-serve dashboards. Review architecture and analysis while guiding technical decisions. Drive business and growth decisions Identify revenue, margin, cost, and operational improvement opportunities. Support planning, forecasting, target setting, and business reviews. Build analytics frameworks for P&L;, categories, channels, products, and customers. Improve acquisition, conversion, retention, cross-sell, pricing, and customer lifetime value. Strengthen marketing effectiveness through attribution, incrementality testing, segmentation,



and budget optimisation. Build an experimentation program across customer journeys, pricing, offers, and product features. Lead strategic projects Work with the Founder on complex, high-impact business problems. Lead projects such as expansion, P&L; optimisation, category growth, sales productivity, and cross-sell. Turn analysis into clear recommendations and drive execution with stakeholders. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Establish the central analytics team and operating model. Build a trusted data foundation and self-serve analytics system. Standardise KPIs and automate leadership business reviews. Embed analytics into planning, experimentation, and capital allocation. Deliver measurable improvements in growth, profitability, marketing efficiency, or operational productivity. IDEAL CANDIDATE Experience in business, growth, product, or data analytics. Experience building an analytics function in a high-growth consumer/D2C company. Proven ability to lead analysts and data engineers. Strong understanding of unit economics, growth levers, customer funnels, and business operations. Track record of improving revenue, profitability, conversion, retention, or marketing efficiency through data. Experience with data warehousing, BI systems, experimentation, segmentation, and attribution. Comfortable working directly with founders on ambiguous business problems. Strong communicator who can translate complex analysis into clear decisions. TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES Robust SQL, analytical problem-solving, data modelling, BI, experimentation, and customer or marketing analytics skills. Experience with modern data warehouses and analytics tools is useful, but business judgment and measurable impact matter more than specific technologies.
