Role Description The Head of Distribution will lead and oversee end-to-end distribution operations for Stavros Pharmaceuticals in Hyderabad in a full-time, in office capacity. This role involves planning and managing the distribution network, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical products to distributors, hospitals, pharmacies, and other partners. The position includes supervising distribution teams, optimizing logistics and warehousing, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing cost-effective, efficient processes. The Head of Distribution will maintain strong relationships with key business partners, coordinate with sales and finance teams, manage insurance-related aspects of stock and transit, and ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The role also includes performance tracking, reporting on distribution KPIs,



risk management, and continuous improvement of distribution strategies to support business growth. Qualifications
• Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build and sustain partnerships with distributors, key accounts, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven Team Management experience, including leading cross-functional distribution, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Sales exposure within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with the ability to align distribution strategies to commercial goals.
• Expertise in Logistics Management, including transportation planning, warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.
• Knowledge of Insurance practices related to stock, transit, and risk mitigation in pharmaceutical distribution.
• 12–18 years of relevant experience in distribution or supply chain roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical distribution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and distribution/SAP or ERP systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage high volumes, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
