Role Description The VoIP Deployment Engineer (Hospitality Systems) is a part time, remote role responsible for implementing and supporting VoIP solutions for hospitality clients. Day-to-day tasks include configuring VoIP systems, integrating them with existing hotel and property management platforms, and ensuring reliable call routing and quality of service. The role involves monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing technical support to internal teams and client stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with project managers and other engineers to plan deployments, document configurations, and follow best practices for security and uptime.



The engineer is expected to maintain clear communication, keep detailed records of changes, and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid Networking skills, including understanding of SIP, RTP, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, and basic routing and switching.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect VoIP platforms with hospitality systems such as PMS, CRM, and other third-party applications.
• Familiarity with VoIP platforms, IP PBXs, and cloud-based telephony solutions used in hospitality environments is beneficial (Mitel, BlueIP, FreePBX).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team setting.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., networking, VoIP, or system administration) and prior experience in hospitality or telecommunication projects are a plus.
