About the Role
The Connected Services Test Automation (CSTA) team is looking for a passionate Test Automation Engineering Specialist to help deliver high-quality Connected Services experiences across vehicle, cloud, backend, mobile, and web ecosystems. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation solutions supporting end-to-end customer journeys across Connected Services platforms while contributing to vehicle launch readiness, quality engineering modernization, and AI-enabled automation initiatives. About Our Team We are a globally distributed automation engineering organization responsible for validating customer experiences spanning mobile applications, backend services, cloud platforms, vehicle systems, benches, simulators, and production vehicles. Our team is transforming quality engineering through extensive use of AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, GitHub Copilot, cloud-native testing, and modern CI/CD practices. Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Build automation solutions for Web, Mobile, API, Integration, and End-to-End validation.
• Integrate automated testing into TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support validation across cloud, vehicle, bench, and simulator environments.
• Investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and improve automation reliability.
• Develop reusable automation libraries, utilities, dashboards,



and engineering tools.
• Support vehicle launch validation and release readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, Quality and Validation teams. Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of software test automation experience.
• Strong Java and/or Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, API Automation ,TestNG, and Maven.
• Experience with API, Mobile, Web Automation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Robust debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
• Automotive, Connected Services, Telematics, or Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) experience.
• Experience with vehicle launch validation and end-to-end customer journey testing.
• Experience with onboard/offboard validation, HIL environments, benches, simulators, or virtual vehicles.
• Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and MQTT.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer,



vTESTstudio or similar tools.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments supporting automation execution and orchestration.
