About the Role
We run an EV Centre of Excellence at a CSR-funded skill development centre in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. The lab is fully equipped, the curriculum is ready, and the students are local youth starting careers in the EV industry. We need one trainer to own this centre: teach, run the lab, and help every student get placed. You will be DIYguru's lead person on the ground.
What You'll Do
• Deliver our 45-day certified EV Technician (2-Wheeler) program to two parallel batches of 25 students
• Run hands-on lab sessions on batteries and BMS, motors and controllers, chargers, wiring and fault diagnosis
• Teach and enforce high-voltage safety in every practical session
• Conduct theory and practical assessments, and maintain attendance and progress reports
• Look after lab equipment, tools and inventory
• Connect students with local EV dealers, service centres and employers, working with our placement team
• Act as the single point of contact between the centre team and DIYguru head office What You Should Know (You will get the full curriculum and onboarding from our training team.)
• EV 2-wheeler architecture and safety practices
• Li-ion batteries (LFP/NMC), BMS, cell balancing and pack testing
• BLDC/PMSM motors and controllers
• Wiring harnesses, DC-DC converters, chargers and multimeter testing
• Fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance and basic CAN
• AC/DC charging basics Who We're Looking For
• Diploma / ITI / B.
Tech / B.
E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• 1–5 years in EV service, EV manufacturing, automotive service or technical training
• Hands-on experience with electric 2-wheelers is a strong advantage
• Training experience preferred, but skilled technicians who can explain things clearly are welcome
• Willing to be based in Kuppam Languages
• Telugu – Mandatory (training is delivered in Telugu)
• English – Working proficiency
• Hindi, Tamil or Kannada – Good to have Compensation & Perks
• ₹4.5 – ₹5.5 LPA, based on experience and skills
• 12-month deployment with extension
• Growth path to Lead Trainer / Centre Head as we replicate this model at more centres
