Snowflake | dbt | SQL | EDW Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions and transformation pipelines for enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and maintain reusable data transformation models using dbt.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Work with EDW architecture, dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, and Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Optimize Snowflake queries and workloads for performance and efficient resource utilization.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, validation, and testing.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.




• Follow version-control and CI/CD practices for data development and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, BI, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions. Mandatory Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, including models, tests, macros, and transformations.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts and architecture.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Robust understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD practices. Good to Have
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Snowflake capabilities such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, cloning, and role-based access control.
• Exposure to BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
