Job Description
– Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant Experience 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics AX development. Role Overview We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant with around 2 years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O; development and customization. The candidate should have a good understanding of X++ development, D365 F&O; technical architecture and development best practices. The candidate will work with senior technical consultants and solution architects on implementation, enhancement, integration, support, and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++.
* Work on D365 F&O; extensions and follow the overlayering-free development approach.
* Understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Develop and maintain:
* X++ classes
* Tables and table extensions
* Forms and form extensions
* Data entities
* Enums and EDTs
* Menus and menu extensions
* Workflows
* Batch jobs
* Queries and views
* Develop and modify SSRS reports based on business requirements.
* Work with Data Management Framework (DMF) and data entities for data import/export.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues using Visual Studio and D365 F&O; debugging tools.
* Analyze existing customizations and identify root causes of technical issues.
* Support integration development using OData, REST APIs, Business Events, and other D365 F&O; integration capabilities.
* Assist in developing interfaces between D365 F&O; and external systems.
* Support technical activities related to data migration and data validation.
* Participate in unit testing,



SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
* Prepare technical design documents and technical specifications under the guidance of senior technical consultants.
* Support deployment and release activities across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
* Work with Azure DevOps for source control, work items, build/release processes, and deployment activities.
* Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and resolve functional/technical issues.
* Participate in production support and troubleshoot technical incidents.
* Follow Microsoft and project-specific development standards and best practices. Required Technical Skills
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
* Positive working knowledge of X++.
* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
* Experience with Visual Studio for D365 F&O; development.
* Understanding of D365 F&O;:
* Extensions
* Tables and table extensions
* Forms and form extensions
* Classes
* Queries
* Data entities
* Batch processing
* Workflows
* Basic experience with SSRS reporting.
* Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
* Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF).
* Basic understanding of D365 F&O; integrations and OData/REST APIs.




* Basic understanding of Azure DevOps and source control.
* Good debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have
* Exposure to D365 F&O; implementation projects.
* Experience working with Electronic Reporting (ER).
* Exposure to Business Events and recurring integrations.
* Knowledge of Power Platform / Data verse.
* Basic understanding of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or other Azure integration components.
* Experience with LCS (Lifecycle Services).
* Understanding of D365 F&O; performance optimization.
* Exposure to Dual-write or Virtual Entities.
* Knowledge of automated testing or RSAT.
* Microsoft certification such as MB-500. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should:
* Have 2+ years of hands-on D365 F&O; technical development experience.
* Be comfortable writing and debugging X++ code.
* Understand standard D365 F&O; development patterns and extensions.
* Be able to independently handle small development tasks and technical fixes.
* Have good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Be able to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
* Have good communication and documentation skills.
* Be willing to learn new D365 F&O; technologies and Microsoft ecosystem capabilities.
