• Qualified Lawyer with 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating client-provided technology contracts, including:
• IT services agreements
• Outsourcing agreements
• Software licensing agreements
• Cloud agreements
• AI-related contracts
• Framework/MSA agreements
• Experience working on customer paper/client terms rather than relying on standard company templates.
• Preferred background as In-house Counsel in a multinational organization or a reputed law firm with similar commercial contracting exposure.
• Responsible for end-to-end legal support and closure of commercial deals, partnering closely with business teams and corporate functions.
• Part of the Commercial Contracting Legal Team supporting Europe and South Africa, reporting to the Head of Legal (Europe).
• Solid ability to identify contractual risks, provide practical solutions, and balance legal risk with business objectives to enable deal closures.
• Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills with internal teams and clients.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing IT services environment and adapting to evolving business structures.
• Exposure to civil law is desirable but not mandatory.
• Occasional international travel may be required.
