System Engineer / Technical Lead – Infotainment & Connectivity

Location:
MRV, Chennai

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end system delivery for HPC (High Performance Computing) platforms, including Infotainment, Connectivity, System Integration, Hardware, and Software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and suppliers to ensure timely completion of TSO activities and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and manage System Requirement Documents (SRDs) and Statements of Requirements (SORs), including supplier sign-off.
• Define and maintain Hardware and Software Interface Specifications.
• Participate in vehicle-level testing, bench testing, and system validation activities.
• Analyze reported issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and drive resolution.
• Track, manage, and close defects raised during development and validation phases.
• Coordinate software releases and ensure successful integration into vehicle programs. Required Experience & Skills

• Solid understanding of Infotainment hardware and peripheral interfaces such as:
• Displays
• USB
• Audio Systems
• Good working knowledge of:

• Diagnostics
• System Integration
• Experience in Android Auto (AA) and Apple CarPlay (CP) certification and interoperability testing.
• Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience in software delivery management and supplier coordination.
• Exposure to software development lifecycle and embedded automotive systems. Education
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
