Role Description The Chartered Accountant Article Assistant will support the firm’s audit, assurance, and tax engagements under the supervision of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, performing vouching and verification of accounting records, and helping with statutory, tax, and internal audits. The role also involves updating books of accounts, working with accounting software, preparing working papers, and supporting tax computations and filings. • Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply concepts to real client scenarios.
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate, up-to-date ledgers and supporting documentation.
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Accounting Software and related tools used in professional practice.
• Enrolled as a Chartered Accountancy student (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per applicable regulations).
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical professional conduct.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to structured training, and manage deadlines in a client-focused environment.
