Role Description The Senior Seismic SME is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, responsible for providing advanced technical expertise in seismic analysis and design. Day-to-day tasks include leading seismic risk assessments, reviewing and validating structural and geotechnical models, and advising project teams on seismic code compliance and best practices. The role involves preparing technical reports, guidelines, and design recommendations, as well as supporting the development of seismic standards and methodologies for client projects. The Senior Seismic SME will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in client meetings to present findings and solutions.



This position also contributes to continuous improvement by monitoring industry developments and integrating new research and technologies into project workflows. Qualifications
• Robust expertise in seismic engineering, including seismic hazard analysis, structural dynamics, and performance-based design.
• Proficiency with relevant analysis and modeling tools (e.g., finite element software, seismic simulation platforms, and data interpretation tools).
• In-depth knowledge of applicable seismic codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks at regional and international levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, review complex calculations, and provide clear, actionable guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills for preparing reports, documentation, and client-facing materials.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Significant professional experience in seismic design, assessment, or risk mitigation, preferably in infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
