Strategic Initiatives Associate SVECTOR | Ahmedabad, Gujarat (In office) | Full-time | Monday to Saturday

Experience:
0–4 years. Exceptional fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Reports to: Founder-CEO About SVECTOR SVECTOR is a technology company building intelligence infrastructure for enterprises and institutions. We develop software systems that help organizations understand complex information, improve decision-making and execute critical business processes. Our initiatives span enterprise intelligence, talent and leadership decision systems, healthcare, industrial technology, financial intelligence and defensive intelligence. We work on problems where technology must do more than generate information. It must help people understand what is happening, decide what to do and turn decisions into measurable outcomes.

About the Role
We are hiring a Strategic Initiatives Associate to work closely with company leadership on selected product, technology and business initiatives. This is an early-career role for someone curious, capable and dependable who wants to understand how a technology business runs while taking direct responsibility for meaningful work. You will take assigned objectives, work out a practical approach, bring the right people together and carry the work through to a verified result. You will work across engineering, product and business teams on things like investigating a product issue, understanding a customer requirement, preparing a business analysis, coordinating a pilot or moving an initiative from planning into execution. This is not a role defined by attending meetings, preparing presentations or passing instructions between departments. The goal is to contribute directly to work that produces results. Experience in an identical role is not required. What You Will Do Project execution
• Understand the objective, constraints and importance of each assigned initiative.
• Break objectives into activities, deliverables, owners and milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, product and business stakeholders.
• Spot delays, dependencies and gaps early, and resolve blockers within your authority.
• Follow up on commitments and keep progress, pending actions and open issues visible.
• Check completed work against its original requirements.
• Prepare short progress summaries and flag decisions that need leadership attention. You are expected to understand the work you coordinate. Collecting updates or maintaining a tracker without understanding the problem is not enough. Product and technical-business work
• Use SVECTOR's software products to understand their real capabilities and limits.
• Understand customer workflows and the problems customers expect the product to solve.
• Investigate reported issues and tell defects apart from unclear requirements and new feature requests.
• Turn business and customer needs into clear problem statements, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Work with engineers to understand constraints, dependencies and possible approaches.
• Support demos, testing, customer pilots and implementation, and confirm delivered work meets the requirement. You are not being hired as a full-time software developer, but strong technical literacy matters. You should be comfortable with concepts such as APIs, databases, integrations and data flows, and willing to learn what you do not yet know. Research and analysis
• Research companies, industries, technologies and business opportunities.
• Compare competitors, products, technical approaches and tools.
• Study enterprise customers and the environments they operate in.
• Review reports, specifications and original source material.
• Prepare decision briefs and recommendations that state what is known, what the evidence is, what remains uncertain and what to do next. We expect you to go beyond the first search result, verify important claims, check numbers and explain your reasoning. We value independent thinking over long documents full of generic observations. Business and customer initiatives
• Research prospective customers and decision-makers, and prepare background for key discussions.
• Support demos, discovery calls and technical-business presentations.
• Turn customer feedback into specific product or business actions.
• Help with proposals and solution briefs, and coordinate pilot follow-ups.
• Join customer meetings and speak with external stakeholders when authorized. There is no individual sales quota. Pricing, contracts and financial commitments stay subject to leadership approval. Leadership support and AI tools
• Prepare briefing notes and short memos for important discussions.
• Record decisions, commitments and open questions, and keep actions tied to owners.
• Use AI tools and modern software for research, document analysis and repetitive workflows, and check their output against reliable sources. Using AI does not remove your responsibility to understand your own work. An unverified AI-generated document that you cannot explain is not an acceptable deliverable. You will also follow company rules on confidential information and data handling. Who You Are
• Curious: you want to understand a hard problem, not avoid it.
• Accountable: a task is done when there is an outcome, not when you have sent a message. You are honest about obstacles and mistakes.
• Structured: you break problems down, test assumptions and reach reasoned conclusions, even under uncertainty.
• Clear communicator:

excellent written and spoken English, with precise emails, briefs and summaries.
• Technically curious: you enjoy learning how software is built and used. Coding experience helps but is not required.
• Reliable: you respect deadlines and confidentiality, know when you need approval, and accept feedback well. Qualifications
• 0–4 years of relevant experience. Internships, independent projects, research, entrepreneurship or full-time work all count.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, AI, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Management or a related field is preferred. Other backgrounds are considered where projects show the capability. No MBA required.
• Experience in product operations, business analysis, technical consulting, software development, strategic research or project execution is relevant. We care about work you have actually completed: a product or technical project, an internship where you solved a real problem, a research assignment with a defensible conclusion, or an initiative where you took responsibility beyond your assigned work. Tell us your own contribution, the decisions you made and the results. This role is not an administrative or personal-assistant job, a software engineering job focused on production code, a pure consulting role or a senior management position. It is an execution-oriented role centered on product understanding, research, problem-solving and completing assigned initiatives. What Success Looks Like
• First 30 days: learn the products, workflows and priorities, and complete initial research and product assignments accurately.
• Days 31–60: own a defined initiative, prepare an execution approach and keep progress visible.
• Days 61–90: carry an initiative to an agreed result or a documented handover. Hiring Process 1. Application review 2. Initial discussion 3. Practical assessment: a realistic research, product or business task. AI tools may be used where permitted, but you must be able to explain and verify your work. 4. Leadership interview 5. Offer discussion: responsibilities, compensation, schedule and joining date are confirmed before a written offer. Working Arrangements Full-time, on-site in Ahmedabad, Monday to Saturday. Schedule, compensation and joining terms are confirmed before a formal offer. If anything

about the role
or location does not match your expectations, please raise it in the first discussion.

How to Apply
Send your resume with a short note covering: 1. Your strongest example of ownership: what you did, which decisions you made and what happened. 2. Why you are interested in technology, research, product understanding and business execution. 3. Your current location, availability to work full-time on-site in Ahmedabad and earliest joining date. Links to projects, GitHub, portfolios or research are welcome. Please skip the generic statements.
