DCDP – Bakery

Experience:
4–5 Years Department: Bakery / Production Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DCDP – Bakery to prepare high-quality bakery products while maintaining consistency, taste, hygiene and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, muffins and other bakery products according to standard recipes.
• Handle weighing, mixing, proofing, baking, filling, icing and finishing.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers and proofers.
• Monitor baking temperatures, timings and product quality.




• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, size and presentation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation and food-handling standards.
• Minimise ingredient wastage and maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and meet daily production targets.
• Coordinate with the bakery team and support junior staff when required. Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of bakery production techniques and recipes.
• Hands-on experience in cakes, pastries, breads and confectionery.
• Knowledge of baking temperatures, measurements and commercial equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills. Qualifications A diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Bakery & Confectionery, Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred. Experience 4–5 years of relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, commercial bakery, confectionery brand or central kitchen.
