In India, we have our office at Bangalore. We are looking for a Logistics Specialist Junior.
Responsibilities:
• Route cargo in accordance with legal and customer requirements
• Capture and manage transport information & data related to the business
• Coordinate the routing process
• Issue resolution and shipment responsibility
• Training of recent employees and of clients if needed
• Research and subject matter expertise in the field of logistics and transportation
• Actively use either Allyn's ALA software or use the software chosen per the client
• Accurately issue shipping documentations such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, packing lists, and certificates of insurance
• Reliably track and expedite progress of specialized shipments
• Capture all costs associated with a shipment
• Actively look for a capture savings opportunities and added value opportunities when possible
• Actively participate in team meetings, conference calls,
and daily project management calls with Allyn team and with the client
• Transport regulations compliance management, including permitting, OD and Hazmat
• Eliminate or minimize risk exposure for Allyn and customers
• Maintain online tracking and metrics tools
• Track and resolve freight claims
• Provide excellent customer service to Allyn customers
• Ensure communication lane between all actors of the supply chain inside & outside client's organization
• Any additional tasks related to Scope of Work agreed with the client
• Perform Allyn core values, actively promote teamwork and represent Allyn according to company culture Requirements & Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum graduate degree – specialization in logistics preferred
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain industry
• International logistics experience preferred
• 0-1 year of relevant experience COMPETENCIES
