Key responsibilities

1. Marketplace Payment Reconciliation

- Automate the collection and processing of marketplace settlement reports.
- Match orders, settlement transactions, deductions, refunds and bank credits.
- Identify discrepancies and generate reports of pending payments and unmatched transactions.

2. Inventory Reconciliation

- Work with our Order Management System (Unicommerce) using available reports and APIs.
- Reconcile opening stock, inward movements, dispatches, returns, adjustments and closing inventory.
- Identify SKU-level stock mismatches and create exception reports.

3. Orders and Returns Reporting

- Build daily reports for orders received, dispatched, cancelled, returned and restocked.
- Establish a daily inventory movement reconciliation process.
- Highlight pending return inspections and unresolved discrepancies.

4. Wrong-Return Claims Management

- Improve the existing Google Sheets tracker.
- Track wrong returns, claim eligibility, filing deadlines, claim status, decisions and recoveries.
- Build reports for claims pending, filed, rejected, won and recovered.

5. Monthly Profitability Analysis

- Develop monthly profitability reports by marketplace and product category, with SKU-level analysis where feasible.
- Work with the finance team to document revenue, cost and fee calculations.
- Reconcile management reports with approved financial records.

6. Executive Dashboard Development





- Build a central dashboard covering sales, profit, orders, returns, inventory, settlements, claims and department KPIs.
- Create a task tracker showing ownership, deadlines, overdue work and tasks at risk.
- Configure appropriate automated alerts for exceptions and missed deadlines.

7. Process Automation and Handover

- Automate repetitive data collection, cleaning and reporting.
- Write easy SOPs for daily, weekly and monthly processes.
- Document calculations, refresh procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Train team members and demonstrate that they can operate the system independently.

Required skills

- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Knowledge of lookup functions, pivot tables, data cleaning and reconciliation.
- Logical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and identify inconsistencies.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Ownership of assigned projects and willingness to work with nontechnical teams.

Preferred skills

- Power Query, Power BI or Looker Studio.
- SQL and basic database concepts.
- Google Apps Script or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON and CSV data.
- Understanding of ecommerce, marketplace operations, inventory or accounting.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, with appropriate validation.
