Job Summary

The Mainframe Security is responsible for safeguarding enterprise mainframe environments by managing access controls, monitoring security events, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with IT operations, audit teams, and business stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient mainframe infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports.
- Coordinate with business units and technical support teams.
- Support customers by preparing ad hoc reports and delivering presentations.
- Monitor the environment for compliance with security standards.
- Provide 24/7 support as required.
- Experience with MVS is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage concurrent deliverables.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a global team and work independently when required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

- Core security knowledge and a sound understanding of security best practices.
- 5-10 years of Hands-on experience with ACF2 system security and mainframe access administration is preferred.
- Hands-on experience administering ACF2 login IDs, datasets, and resource rules.




- Ability to interpret and maintain ACF2 dataset and resource rules.
- Experience monitoring compliance with system security policies and investigating violations or incidents.
- Experience of z/OS integrity and security architecture.
- Experience of ACF2 architecture and control mechanisms.
- Expert with z/OS console commands used for ACF2.
- Experience with ACF2 GSO listings and configuration options.
- Experience with ACF2 utilities, including ACFBATCH, ACFBSYNC, ACFCOMP, ACFDCMP, ACFNRULE, ACFRGP, and ACFXREF.
- Experience to manage end-to-end mainframe certificate deployment.
- Experience in Pervasive encryption deployment

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

- Strong proficiency in TSO, JCL, REXX, ACF2 utilities, JES2, and ISPF.
- Experience with zSecure, ETFA, CA Cleanup, or other security tools.
- Experience with other mainframe security products is an advantage.
