We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our EPC Tender Department who will be responsible for EPC tender document preparation, estimation, costing and BOQ development for Traction Distribution (TRD) as well as General Electrification projects. Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review EPC tender documents for electrical works
• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.
• Handle estimation for TRD and General Electrification works.
• Study tender documents, drawings, technical specifications and scope of work.
• Prepare rate analysis, material costing and labour costing.
• Review electrical drawings and identify quantities and technical requirements
• Prepare technical and commercial inputs for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and project teams for technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare comparative statements and vendor/subcontractor quotations.
• Ensure tender submissions comply with client specifications and tender requirements.
• Support preparation of technical offers, compliance statements and clarifications.
• Evaluate BOQs and identify deviations, exclusions and scope gaps. • Maintain tender records, estimation sheets and supporting documents. Required Skills
• Solid knowledge of Electrical EPC Tendering and Estimation.
• Experience in TRD / Railway Electrification estimation will be preferred.
• Knowledge of General Electrification works.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, BOQ and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related tools.
• Ability to analyse tender documents and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Good coordination, communication and documentation skills.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute. Preferred Experience Experience in Railway Electrical / TRD / General Electrification / EPC projects, particularly in tender preparation and estimation, will be an added advantage.
