We are seeking a motivated Senior Structural Designer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, detailing, and reviewing structural drawings for a variety of projects, while guiding junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Create, detail, and review structural drawings using AutoCAD
- Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drafting tasks
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil gas structures
- Independently manages assigned tasks, prioritize deliverables, and ensure timely completion
Requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in structural design
- Robust knowledge of Class rules, regulations,
and international standards
- Expertise in steel and aluminum structures, including detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drafting techniques
- Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage
- Exposure to offshore, marine, or oil gas industries preferred
