Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Product Costing Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Controlling - Product Costing (CO-PC), Material Ledger, and Actual Costing. The candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting product cost planning, cost estimates, inventory valuation, production costing, and period-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, implement, and support SAP CO-PC, Material Ledger, and Actual Costing.

- Work on standard cost estimates, cost component structures, costing variants, and valuation strategies.

- Configure and support product costing processes for manufactured products.

- Work on cost roll-ups, BOM and routing integration, and production order costing.

- Support Material Ledger configuration, actual costing, and periodic unit price calculations.

- Manage period-end activities, including WIP, variance calculation, settlement, and actual cost allocation, as applicable.

- Integrate product costing with SAP FI, CO, MM, and PP.

- Troubleshoot costing, inventory valuation, material price determination, and financial reconciliation issues.

- Support cost analysis, profitability reporting,



and manufacturing finance requirements.

- Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, configuration documents, and process documentation.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of relevant SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP CO-PC expertise.

- Strong knowledge of Material Ledger and Actual Costing.

- Experience with standard costing, cost estimates, costing sheets, and cost component structures.

- Understanding of BOMs, routings, production orders, and manufacturing processes.

- Knowledge of Material Ledger price determination and inventory valuation.

- Experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, and PP integration.

- Understanding of period-end closing, WIP, production variances, and settlement.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Product Costing and Material Ledger.

- Knowledge of Universal Journal and inventory valuation processes.

- Experience in manufacturing or product-based industries.

- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects.
