Role & responsibilities

Quality Control & Site Inspection

- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
- Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and finishing works.
- Monitor material quality, concrete testing, cube tests, slump tests and other required site tests.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, clients and laboratories for inspections and quality approvals.
- Identify quality issues, maintain inspection records and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain quality documentation, checklists, test reports and daily quality reports.

Quantity Surveying & Billing

- Study construction drawings, BOQs, tender documents and technical specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimates and material requirement statements.
- Calculate quantities for RCC, reinforcement, excavation, masonry, finishing, structural steel and infrastructure works.
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills, final bills and subcontractor bills.
- Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement books and joint measurement records.




- Prepare quantity reconciliation, rate analysis, extra-item statements and variation claims.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage and quantities executed against BOQ provisions.
- Coordinate with planning, purchase, accounts and project management teams for quantity and cost control.

Additional Responsibilities

- Support timely project execution while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical and measurement discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation for project progress, billing and final handover.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction, drawings, BOQ and technical specifications.
- Practical experience in quality inspections, quantity estimation and billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; knowledge of relevant estimation or billing software is an advantage.
- Positive communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites as per project requirements.
