Position: Pastry Chef

Work Location: Male City, Maldives

Workplace: Reputed Restaurant

Monthly Salary: USD 400 to 500

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, tarts, cookies, and other confectionery products.
- Manage daily pastry production according to restaurant requirements and production schedules.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures.
- Ensure excellent taste, texture, freshness, consistency, and presentation of all pastry products.
- Prepare creams, fillings, icing, decorations, and dessert components.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry preparation and production areas.
- Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, storage, and stock levels.
- Operate pastry and baking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Minimise food wastage and use ingredients effectively.
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain proper storage temperatures.




- Coordinate with the bakery and kitchen teams to ensure timely production and service.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef.
- Experience in a reputed hotel or restaurant is preferred.
- Experience in a large-scale pastry production department is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of pastry preparation, cake making, desserts, baking techniques, and decoration.
- Strong skills in product presentation and quality control.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards is essential.
- Ability to manage daily pastry production efficiently.
- Valuable teamwork, time management, and organisational skills.
- Immediate joiners are required.
