About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right educational programs based on their academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and professional goals. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to drive student enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students through outbound calls, inbound enquiries, emails, and other communication channels.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career objectives, and learning requirements to recommend suitable courses and programs.
- Provide detailed information about course structures, curriculum, eligibility criteria, fees, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to address queries, resolve concerns, and drive enrolments.
- Manage the complete admission and counselling cycle, from initial enquiry to final registration.
- Achieve individual enrolment targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Conduct online counselling sessions, webinars, and program demonstrations whenever required.




- Build robust relationships with students and parents by providing timely guidance and a positive counselling experience.
- Ensure adherence to sales processes, admission guidelines, and quality standards.

Requirements

- 1–5 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Student Counselling, Admissions, Inside Sales, or B2C Sales, preferably within the Education or EdTech industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable educational programs.
- Experience in lead management, follow-ups, conversion, and target achievement.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, dialer systems, and sales funnel management.
- Strong ownership, a result-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Ability to handle student and parent queries professionally and manage multiple leads efficiently.
