We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Assembler Developer with 5+ years of experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Assembler, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2, along with experience in production support, debugging, and performance optimization of mainframe systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support Mainframe applications using Assembler and COBOL.
- Develop and modify JCLs for batch processing and job scheduling.
- Work with VSAM datasets and DB2 databases for data processing and management.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement fixes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and support teams.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
- Participate in application modernization and system enhancement initiatives.
