Key responsibilities

- Analyze MicroStrategy projects, schemas, cubes, attributes, facts, metrics, prompts, filters, dossiers and grid reports.
- Map MicroStrategy objects to Power BI semantic models (star schema, relationships, hierarchies).
- Convert MicroStrategy metrics and derived metrics to DAX, and map data sources to Power Query (M).
- Rebuild grid reports, graphs and dossiers as Power BI reports, including prompts, filters, drill paths and formatting.
- Connect Power BI semantic models to Databricks (Unity Catalog) and optimize model design.
- Migrate security and RLS, and configure refresh and connectivity.
- Validate data against MicroStrategy, including reconciliation, KPI checks, unit and regression testing, and UAT defect fixing.
- Deploy to Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines), and support cutover and hypercare.
- Use AI-based migration tools and agents (metadata extraction, DAX conversion, automated validation), and provide feedback to improve them.




- Prepare documentation and knowledge-transfer material, and work with client SMEs.

Required skills

- Robust hands-on Power BI: data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), report design and PowerBI Service.
- Hands-on MicroStrategy: Developer/Desktop and Web, attributes, facts, metrics, templates, filters, prompts, dossiers and cubes.
- Advanced SQL and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience migrating or rebuilding reports across BI platforms.
- Experience with RLS and security, performance tuning and data validation.

Good to have

- Databricks or BigQuery, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, Git/DevOps.
- Tableau Reporting Knowledge
- Python scripting or exposure to GenAI/LLM tools for automation.
- Experience with MicroStrategy REST APIs or Platform Analytics.
- Microsoft PL-300 or MicroStrategy certification.

Education: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent.
