Job description

LogixHealth is hiring an IT Lead, IT Engineering to lead the engineering of our Microsoft cloud and workplace platforms in a healthcare workplace handling PHI. You will set standards and the 1224 month roadmap, act as technical authority on design and major incidents, stay hands-on for complex work, and mentor a team of IT engineers.

Key responsibilities

- Own architecture, design standards and roadmap for identity, endpoint, data protection, Azure and virtual desktop platforms; build investment cases with cost, risk and timelines
- Own Entra ID standards (Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, access reviews, hybrid identity)
- Own Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch, Defender for Endpoint and Purview DLP standards for Windows and macOS
- Own Azure Virtual Desktop design: host pools, image strategy, FSLogix, autoscaling, cost and monitoring
- Own hardening, patch and vulnerability management programmes, including SLAs and exception governance
- Own ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus design and integrations; set PowerShell, Graph and Git standards; introduce IaC where it adds value




- Lead technical response on major and security incidents; own ISO 27001, SOC 2 and HIPAA evidence for platform controls
- Lead, mentor and develop the IT engineering team

Required skills

- 9–12 years in IT infrastructure/cloud engineering, with 2–3 years as technical lead and 4+ years hands-on in M365 and Azure (design and build)
- Strong Entra ID, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop and Defender experience
- Proven ownership of patch and vulnerability management (Defender VM, Tenable, Rapid7 or Qualys)
- PowerShell and Microsoft Graph; ability to run design reviews and explain architecture, cost and risk to senior management
- Willing to work from office, shifts and on-call (247 operation); travel between Coimbatore and Bangalore

Good to have: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CD, Windows 365/Nerdio/Citrix migration to AVD, Purview and Defender XDR depth, healthcare/HIPAA experience

Certifications (good to have): AZ-104/AZ-305, MD-102, SC-300, AZ-140, ITIL Foundation, Terraform Associate
