Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with experience in MySQL database development to build, maintain, and optimize scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases, tables, indexes, and queries.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Optimize application performance and database query execution.
- Handle database transactions, joins, stored procedures, and data validation.
- Debug issues, troubleshoot errors, and improve application reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Use Git for version control and follow coding best practices.





Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Express.js.
- Valuable understanding of MySQL database design and SQL queries.
- Experience with CRUD operations, joins, subqueries, indexes, and transactions.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming, Promises, and async/await.
- Understanding of authentication using JWT or session-based mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Basic knowledge of error handling, logging, and API security.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Sequelize, Prisma, or another Node.js ORM.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Redis, caching, and application performance optimization.
- Knowledge of unit testing using Jest or Mocha.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
