JOB DESCRIPTION – TEACHERS (GSEB BOARD)Position: School Teachers – Standards 8 to 10 & Commerce Teachers

Board: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB)

Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (as applicable)

Salary: ₹8,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.

1. Subject Teachers – Standards 8 to 10Subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Science

- Job ResponsibilitiesTeach students from Standards 8 to 10 according to the GSEB curriculum.
- Explain concepts clearly and make learning easy to understand.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, practice worksheets, and tests.
- Conduct regular assessments and track students' academic progress.
- Help students prepare for school examinations and board examinations.
- Maintain discipline and encourage student participation.

2. Commerce Teachers – Standards 11 & 12Subjects: Accountancy, Statistics, and related Commerce subjects, according to expertise.

- Job ResponsibilitiesTeach Commerce subjects according to the relevant syllabus.
- Explain accounting concepts, numerical problems, and statistical methods.




- Prepare students for examinations through regular tests and practice sessions.
- Provide individual guidance to students who need additional academic support.
- Keep teaching materials and assessments updated according to the syllabus.
- Mandatory RequirementsLanguages: Must be able to teach and communicate fluently in both Gujarati and English.
- Board Knowledge: Must have a robust understanding of the GSEB syllabus and examination pattern.
- Qualification: Graduate or postgraduate in the relevant subject; B.Ed. or other teaching qualifications preferred.
- Experience: Experienced teachers and capable freshers may apply.
- Strong communication, subject knowledge, classroom management, and teaching skills.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and committed to students' academic development.
