The Site Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, execution, quality control, coordination, and progress monitoring of construction and infrastructure activities at the GKM Lonavala Project.

Role & responsibilities

A. Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise day-to-day civil, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and other site activities.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedules.
- Monitor workmanship, materials, dimensions, levels, and construction quality.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, site staff and Management Representative.
- Verify materials received at site against approved specifications and quantities.
- Maintain daily site records, work progress reports, inspection records, and measurement sheets.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with consultants/contractors for timely resolution.
- Monitor contractor manpower, work productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure proper implementation of site safety practices and statutory requirements.
- On completion of work verify quality of work done by joint measurement and its certification.
- Maintain copies of all document site for quick refer to management and other authorities/representative. B. Green Building & Sustainability Compliance
- Coordinate implementation of green building and sustainable construction practices applicable to the project.
- Develop working knowledge of relevant Indian green building frameworks and certification requirements such as IGBC, GRIHA, LEED, or other applicable certification systems.
- Assist consultants and project management in identifying the appropriate green building certification pathway for the project. C. Certification & Documentation




- Maintain records and supporting documents required for green building certification and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate with certification consultants, architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors for submission of required documentations.
- Track compliance against applicable certification checklists and project sustainability targets.
- Collect product data sheets, test certificates, material certifications, invoices, photographs, commissioning reports, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure that approved sustainable materials and systems are actually installed at site.
- Assist during inspections, audits, testing, commissioning, and certification-related site visits.
- Maintain a structured Green Building and all approved billing with measurement sheets Compliance Register throughout the project. D. Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental conditions and local authority requirements.
- Monitor construction activities affecting soil, water, air quality, noise, vegetation, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure proper handling, segregation, storage, and disposal of construction and demolition waste.
- Monitor dust-control, debris-management, water-management, and pollution-control measures.
- Coordinate implementation of rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, sewage/wastewater treatment, and water reuse systems where applicable.

Preferred candidate profile

- 37 years of relevant experience in construction/site engineering.
- Experience in residential, institutional, resort, campus, hospitality, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
- Experience in green building, renewable energy, sustainable construction, or certification compliance will be an advantage.

• Certification/course in Green Building, Sustainability, Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

• IGBC AP / GRIHA / LEED-related knowledge or certification will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel/ PowerPoint
